As a Host, your guests bring their unwanted gold, silver and gently used designer items or collectibles to you. Your Gold Buyer will take care of everything else. You’ll receive a check for 10% of all the gold & silver we buy and another 10% of all sale prices after the online auction.

FAQ’s:
What items do we take? Sports, war & western memorabilia, previously owned designer shoes, handbags & accessories, antiques & collectibles, firearms, and so much more! No breakables, furniture, art or very heavy items. Just ask your Gold Buyer and they will find out for you.
How much money will I get? The auction process has been successful for thousands of years. It’s the oldest and most unique way to sell goods and auctions are exciting! People get caught up in the thrill and will often pay over fair market value just to win the item. Combine this with I-15 Auction’s cutting edge virtual technology and marketing, plus over 35 years in the auction business and you’ll get maximum profit for almost no effort on your part.
As the “consignor” (the owner or seller), your portion is 60% of the item’s final selling price. There are absolutely NO FEES OR CHARGES when we collect your items, but there is a $2 per item listing fee which is deducted from your final check.
Does GlitterBug actually sell my items? We collect your items and send them to our partner, I-15 Auctions. I-15 is a team of experienced and talented Estate and Benefit Auctioneers and Coordinators offering a full service experience.
What if my item doesn’t sell? After 35 years in business, our auction partner is an expert at advertising and marketing. They have an international database of thousands of customers who regularly attend their auctions. To be honest, everything always sells.
Can I put a reserve price on an item (a minimum)? You can imagine the work that goes into properly preparing your item for sale, handling the pre-bids, answering questions from potential buyers, running the live auction, processing payments, shipping the items, and cutting your check. They cannot regularly incorporate reserve pricing in the+ actions, but if you have a concern about a particularly valuable item you are hesitant to part with, we can explore options.
When will I receive my check? Your check is mailed to your Gold Buyer within 7 to 10 business days of the auction. For your convenience, he/she will confirm your payouts are correct, as well as take care of any issues before sending it to you.
Can I see my items online and/or watch the auction? Of course! This is part of the fun. You can sign up on the mailing list to be notified of all upcoming auctions, view your items online during the preview period, and view the action live when the time comes.
I’m ready! How do I get started with gBay? Call your Gold Buyer to either make a private appointment or book a party. Rummage around in your closet, your garage, your storage space, wherever you have “stuff.” Your Gold Buyer will take care of the rest!
